Two teams at Marshall placed in the Solar Solutionary Middle School Competition to improve their communities using solar energy!
Rushil, Muhammadumar, and Haatim, came in 1st place with their solar heating coat.
Alex and Tanay came in 2nd place by creating a protype of a solar water filter.

Our Student Ambassadors are leading the way! Last week, through student-led tours with RPS 205 administration, middle schoolers at Flinn, West, Eisenhower, Lincoln, RESA, and Marshall, built leadership, confidence, and community. This program is shaping tomorrow’s leaders today!
Congratulations to Marshall Middle School's Scholastic Bowl team for taking 4th place at the IESA State Tournament! There were over 400 teams in the state. They lost on the last question to a team that was champion last year. Great job representing RPS 205.

This email includes a unique Snapcode that you'll need to begin the registration process. Students (& former students!), families, and colleagues are encouraged to attend, make signs, and cheer on Mrs. Johnson at the Red Carpet arrival before the Golden Apple banquet.
Golden Apple teachers will be arriving via a bus to the Red Carpet at 5:15 near the front of the Tebala TEmple on Newburg Rd. The teachers will be announced as the come off the bus and on Facebook Live. There will be a chance to take photos with the teachers. This is a great way for students and colleagues to feel a part of the celebration even if they are not able to attend the banquet!

Big win for Marshall Middle School! Students Alex Granados & Tanay Mewada took 1st place in the Cal Ripken Sr. STEM Super Bowl Engineering & 3D Print Challenge. Their interactive stage featured lighting, 3D prints, & music were all built during recess & WIN (study hall) time!

🎨FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY! Don’t miss the RPS 205 All City Art Show! It's featuring amazing work from our middle and high school artists. Join us on Wednesday, April 8, from 5 to 7 PM at 304 Main Street. It’s FREE and open to the public.
Due to the emergency day used on March 16, the last day of school is now Thursday, May 21 for Early Childhood, and Friday, May 22 for K-11 grades. Seniors' last day will stay the same on Friday, May 8.
All RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16, due to weather. All after-school activities will also be cancelled, including Y Care. The RPS 205 Administration Building, Sterling Holley, & the Operations Support Center will be open.
Tomorrow night is MOD Pizza night for TMMS! Come out and support our school and take a break from cooking.
